Life at the Ashram pulses with energy every evening — a vibrant blend of the sacred and the spirited, where every child gets their moment in the spotlight.
Every evening, the atmosphere shifts as we gather for Bal Sabha. This is where the Group System truly shines. To make sure no student is lost in the crowd, we break into smaller squads so that every single child gets their moment in the spotlight.
Four groups compete head-to-head every week. Every performance earns points that go toward the ultimate goal: the annual group trophy.
It’s a mix of the sacred and the high-energy — from choreographed prayer dances to modern dance-offs, we test everything.
We keep them sharp with G.K. quizzes, rapid-fire math tables, and surprise challenges — plus routine health and hygiene checkups to keep our “body-temples” as fit as our minds.
We believe that play is the highest form of research. To keep the creative sparks flying, we host massive two-hour entertainment marathons that bring the whole staff and student family together.
Our students aren’t just residents; they are activists. In a massive movement led by our alumni and trustees, the entire Ashram family took a stand for the nation’s wealth: Power, Water, and Culture.
At the Ashram, we are one big family. During Raksha Bandhan, the sisters of our staff family perform the traditional Chandla-vidhi (tilak) and tie Rakhis on the wrists of all our students. It’s a powerful day that reinforces the message of brotherly love and the promise to protect one another, ensuring that even away from home, no student ever feels alone.
